Welcome
I’m Sarah Farsh, aka, Dragoness. A professionally trained dancer, performance artists, student, teacher, plant-based chef and global art director for Whole Foods Market. This is my sacred space to share a collective of inspiration, incubate talent, build community, share unique and memorable experiences through joy, and encourage self-expression through love and collaboration.
Enjoy The Journey
I started my professional dance career in 2002 after joining private belly dance classes with Amira Mor, and being recruited by her company short after. My first publication in The Metro Section of The New York Times featured a huge photo of me dancing at The Cuban Day Parade that same year, that literally marked the beginning of my professional dance journey. The worst photo of me ended up in what felt like every paper back then.
My first stage name was SaFire, and I appeared at every club you could in NYC before I was old enough to enter as a guest. And galas galore, I danced for renown celebrities at private events such as Ringo Starr at Radio City Music Hall, opening dancer for Alabina and performance artist for Moby and Alicia Silverstone. I continued training and teaching at The Broadway Dance Center. Most importantly to me, I shared and grew a collective of new and aspiring dancers how to shimmy and perform with me all over the Tri-State area and Miami Arts District, hosted dozens of student showcases, for all shapes and ages. I never competed because I don’t believe in that. My purpose is to spark and inspire joy, empowerment, self-expression and love–while leaving the world more better than before. I entered a new career in the health food world through Whole Foods Market in 2010, that rounded and completed my purpose from the inside out. Today I am most delighted to share decades of divers experience with you, that may nourish your mind, body and spirit.
